Off-chain Charging
Why high-frequency agent calls charge through Gateway instead of one on-chain transfer per request.
Agents need millisecond-scale API access. On-chain transfers are too slow and too expensive for $0.01 service calls. Synapse keeps collateral on-chain but performs high-frequency charging off-chain through Gateway.
Price assertion
For fixed-price services, the agent sends the price it saw during discovery. Gateway rejects stale prices instead of silently overcharging.
